What is Days Calculator?
A days calculator separates elapsed days, inclusive calendar-date counts, date offsets, and business-day offsets. The result states endpoint and holiday assumptions so a one-day disagreement is not hidden.

How the calculation works
The elapsed day gap excludes the start date. Endpoint controls produce a separate selected-date count. Business-day offsets skip Saturdays and Sundays and, when selected, observed U.S. federal holidays.
Worked example
From July 1 to July 8, the elapsed gap is 7 days. Including both July 1 and July 8 produces an inclusive count of 8 calendar dates.
Elapsed days versus inclusive days
July 1 to July 2 has one elapsed day. An inclusive rule can count July 1, July 2, or both as selected calendar dates.
The result shows elapsed gap and selected-date count separately, making the applied rule visible.
How business days are calculated
Business-day mode skips Saturdays and Sundays. In Add or Subtract mode, the result date itself is moved through working days.
The optional U.S. setting also skips observed federal holidays. It does not include state, local, bank, school, employer, or non-U.S. closures.
Add or subtract days from a date
Calendar offsets move through every date, while business-day offsets skip selected non-working dates. The same amount can therefore produce a different result date.
Use a positive amount with the Add or Subtract control; the result reports direction, weekdays, and the applied rule.

Accuracy and limitations
