Cookie Policy
Core calculators do not require login cookies or tracking cookies. This policy distinguishes browser preferences and saved privacy choices from Google Analytics, which loads only after permission, and advertising technologies that remain disabled until properly configured.
Current essential storage
LifeStatistics.net does not require an account, login cookie, shopping cart, or server-side calculator session. Core calculator values are processed in the browser and are not stored in an account database.
The site may use local storage to remember a visitor's light or dark theme and analytics choice. Clearing site data removes those preferences, returns the theme to its default or system setting, and asks for the analytics choice again.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics loads only after a visitor selects Accept or enables analytics in Cookie settings. When allowed, Google Analytics may use a first-party identifier such as the _ga cookie to distinguish visits and understand page use, devices, broad location, and interaction patterns. Calculator inputs, complete birth dates, entered names, contact-message text, and result values are excluded from analytics events. Microsoft Clarity remains disabled. Optional Google advertising
Google AdSense is disabled by default. If enabled, Google and other authorized advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses, or use other identifiers to serve, limit, personalize, and measure ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site or other sites. How AdSense uses cookies | Google advertising technologies
Consent controls
Optional advertising storage must not be activated where consent is required until the visitor receives the required information and choices. For Google ads served in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, LifeStatistics.net must use a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework where required. Rejecting optional advertising storage should not block core calculator use. Google CMP requirements
Managing your choices
Visitors can reopen Cookie settings in the footer to enable or disable analytics at any time, and can also block or delete cookies and local storage through browser settings. Selecting Ignore on the consent banner keeps optional analytics cookies disabled. Google Ads Settings can be used to manage personalized advertising if Google advertising is activated later. Effects of blocking storage and policy changes
Clearing storage may reset the theme. Blocking optional analytics or advertising identifiers may reduce measurement or personalization, but the core calculators should continue to work. Browser privacy tools and extensions may also affect third-party links or consent messages.
This policy may be updated when storage behavior, providers, consent requirements, or advertising configuration changes. The Last updated date identifies the latest published revision.
